PARSA UK is a registered charity in England and Wales dedicated to helping improve the lives of disadvantaged women and young people in Afghanistan, in particular widows and orphaned children. PARSA UK works directly with their sister charity PARSA Afghanistan, helping to provide education, training and all necessary support for bringing these disenfranchised groups out of poverty, into a life where they can be re-integrated into their Afghan community and support themselves.
PARSA UK Supports PARSA Afghanistan Via:
Scouting in Afghanistan
PARSA UK facilitates learning partnerships and twinning links between Scouts in the UK and Afghanistan, and also supports the Afghan Scouts financially by running fundraisers in the UK where Afghan Scouts products are sold and awareness is raised for the program.
Growing Economies for Women
PARSA UK helps disadvantaged women in Afghanistan become self-sufficient by finding UK outlets for the artisan products made by women in PARSA Afghanistan's Women's Economic Programs. PARSA UK also helps raise funds to cover the costs of running these programs.
Faces of Afghanistan
